L’Équipe are reporting that Paris Saint-Germain are promising Hadjuk Split’s promising young centre-back Luka Vušković (16), although they face strong competition from Manchester City, who have already made an offer.

Luís Campos has turned his focus towards signing high-potential youngsters in recent weeks, and one of the profiles appreciated is Croatian defender Vušković. Despite not yet being a household name, competition for his signature is fierce, and PSG are the latest club to begin negotiations over a transfer.

Vušković is already playing with the club’s first team, but he looks set to depart the Croatian side before the age of 17. The Croatian U17 international is already the subject of an offer from Premier League champions Manchester City. According to L’Équipe, the Premier League club have already offered €12m, bonuses included for Vušković.

Should PSG sign the defender, they will have to at least match that price, whilst Les Parisiens would also be prepared to loan Vušković back to Hadjuk Split for a year. German clubs are also interested in signing the highly-coveted youngster.
