With several days remaining within the summer market, European giants PSG could potentially make a last-gasp attempt in acquiring star-Napoli forward Victor Osimhen.
Sky Sport’s Gianluca Di Marzio reports that the Ligue 1 outfits still remain keen on luring the Nigerian hit-man and could possibly submit an offer around the region of €50m-€60m for the Partenopei want-away attacker.
The French-side have been eager to sign Osimhen for months throughout the market since it was announced that the 25-year-old forward did not want to remain with Napoli for the upcoming season.
Contacts were made between both clubs, but both parties were unable to reach an agreement as PSG were unwilling to meet Aurelio De Laurentiis’ hefty demands.
With coach Antonio Conte’s side on the cusp of sealing Romelu Lukaku as their primary choice to fill the void up-top, as well as Napoli currently desperate for extra cash flow, PSG are potentially prepared to submit late bid in order to reinforce the front-line following the unfortunate long-term injury of Portuguese international Goncalo Ramos.
