RMC Sport journalist Fabrice Hawkins is reporting that Paris Saint-Germain have revived their interest in PSV Eindhoven midfielder Ibrahim Sangaré (25).
PSG have already added to their midfield this season. Manuel Ugarte arrived from Sporting Portugal for a reported €60m, and he started for Les Parisiens in Saturday’s goalless draw against FC Lorient. However, the club are now looking to make two further additions in this sector of the pitch.
Neymar is set for a move to Al Hilal, which is thought to be worth just under €100m, whilst the club are also looking to offload veteran midfielder Marco Verratti. PSG could, therefore, spend significantly between now and the end of the season. Sangaré was of interest to PSG last summer, and according to Hawkins, that interest is set to be reignited. Negotiations are underway in order to convince the Ivorian international of the move, although they will face competition from Bayern Munich. Sangaré’s clause is thought to be worth €37m.
