Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain will continue their momentum as they head on tour for this summer pre-season tour.
The European club will be the first to visit Japan since the Covid-19 pandemic. Over the last two and a half years, the country has largely closed itself off to visiting teams and sporting events, but it is beginning to open up.
The 2020 Olympics were among the events impacted by the pandemic, with the Tokyo Games delayed by a year and the world swimming championships in Fukuoka, Japan, postponed until 2023.
However, Japan continued to hold matches in Asia’s preliminary rounds for November’s World Cup under strict restrictions as the Samurai Blue qualified for the World Cup in Qatar.
With PSG heading to Asia, fans will undoubtedly turn out in force to see some of the world’s best.Here’s everything we know about PSG’s preseason tour movement.
PSG, who won their 10th French title in May will travel to Japan where they will face J1 League sides Kawasaki Frontale, Urawa Red Diamonds and Gamba Osaka respectively.
The club has confirmed friendlies against J1 League sides Kawasaki Frontale, and Urawa Red Diamonds, followed by a game against Gamba Osaka.
Unfortunately, there’s no information available yet as to where fans can watch Lionel Messi and co.

The first round of the 2022-23 Ligue 1 Uber Eats season will take place on the weekend of August 6 and 7, 2022.
Round 15, scheduled for the weekend of November 12-13, 2022, will be the final round before the start of the 2022 FIFA World Cup international break.
