According to RMC Sport, Paris Saint-Germain offered out-of-favour forward Hugo Ekitiké (21) to Turkish side Adana Demirspor in September.

After a difficult debut campaign at the Parc des Princes, it is no secret that PSG were looking to offload the France youth international this summer. Along with players such as Neymar and Marco Verratti, Ekitiké was part of the “undesirables” despite featuring in Luis Enrique’s matchday squads at the beginning of the season.

However, Ekitiké has seen himself completely frozen out at PSG since the end of August. Les Parisiens attempted to use Ekitiké, whose permanent transfer from Stade de Reims was only confirmed earlier in the summer, in a deal to sign Randal Kolo Muani from Eintracht Frankfurt. Ekitiké’s refusal to move in the opposite direction infuriated PSG’s executives and almost derailed the deal entirely. Kolo Muani did ultimately join PSG in the final hours of the transfer window.

PSG rejected offers from Crystal Palace, despite the Premier League side’s strong financial offer for Ekitiké, who joined the reigning Ligue 1 champions for €35m. Following the failure to offload Ekitiké to Frankfurt, PSG offered to player to Turkish side Adana Demispor, but to no avail. Ekitiké therefore remains at PSG, but it is thought that his long-term future does not lie at the Parisian club.
