Paris Saint-Germain is now open to a transfer move for current Lille forward Jonathan David, as noted by the Italian-based outlet CalcioMercato.

The Canadian international is currently featuring in his second season with Lille. He was among the driving forces in Lille’s Ligue 1 triumph last season, which included 13 goals scored in league play.

Under new Lille manager Jocelyn Gourvennec, David has maintained his keen goal-scoring form with 12 goals scored in Ligue 1 so far in the ongoing campaign, which included a goal against PSG earlier in the campaign.

As it stands, David has three more years remaining on his contract deal with the club.

While PSG has no real need for an attacker at the moment, this could all change in the coming months, especially as Angel Di Maria is set to become a free agent in the upcoming summer transfer window and as Mauro Icardi has been in the rumor mill over a possible departure from the club.
