Paris Saint-Germain could be looking to tempt Manchester United into making a deal with them for midfielder Manuel Ugarte. The Red Devils have been linked to the Uruguayan for weeks now and with the summer window closing in a few days, time is running out to get a deal done.

Transfer expert  Fabrizio Romano reported this week that Manchester United are working on a loan deal  with an obligation to buy for the PSG standout.

On Tuesday, journalist Ben Jacobs also reported that PSG are open to letting Ugarte join Manchester United on a loan deal with an obligation to buy. The talks are going well, but the Parisians are not in any hurry and will let the negotiations continue into next week if necessary.

The latest information comes from The Telegraph , which reports that there’s now growing optimism that Manchester United and PSG will reach a deal for Ugarte.

Moreover, the English outlet reveals that PSG are hopeful that the offer to defer payment will appeal to the Premier League side.

This potential arrangement could give the Red Devils time to gather funds for next year, but Manchester United might still receive the money before the summer window closes. According to Corriere dello Sport , Scott McTominay has agreed to personal terms with Napoli.
