Here’s a story that’s been on the front pages of newspapers all around France.
According to numerous sources, PSG are leading the chase to sign 19-year-old Florentino Luís from Benfica.
Florentino is a true number six that has a €60m buyout clause attached to him, though it is certain that PSG will try to negotiate the Portuguese giants down for less.
With a less-than-ideal midfield and Adrien Rabiot set to depart this summer, PSG are in desperate need of reinforcements in that area of the pitch.
Florentino started Benfica’s first three Europa League knockout stage and has made four Liga NOS appearances this season.
The teenager has been capped with Portugal at every level up to the U-20s and won the U-17 Euros in 2016 and the U-19 Euros in 2018.
