RB Leipzig continue to chase for a place in the Champions League as they travel to Wolfsburg on Friday evening.
Wolfsburg currently find themselves in 12th place with 38 points after losing 1-0 against Union Berlin last week.
Leipzig are in fifth place with 45 points and are just one point behind fourth placed Mainz after beating Hoffenheim 3-1 most recently.
It has now been three games without a goal for Wolfsburg and they have conceded at least one goal in the last eight games in a row.
Ralph Hasenhuttl’s side must quickly pick up their form if they are to have any chance of qualifying for a place in a European competition as they have failed to win seven of their previous nine matches.
Leipzig secured an impressive victory last week but now must continue to improve on their attacking output as their 44 goals this season is the second to lowest amount of goals scored in the top ten.
Zsolt Low’s team are just three points behind third placed Eintracht Frankfurt but are also just three points ahead of seventh placed Freiburg.
These two sides have already met twice this season, with Wolfsburg winning 5-1 in the league fixture and Leipzig winning 1-0 in the DFB-Pokal.

Wolfsburg will be missing several players as goalkeeper Niklas Klinger is unavailable, as well as defenders Sebastiaan Bornauw, Denis Vavro and Konstantinos Koulierakis.
Midfielder Mattias Svanberg is also ruled out alongside forwards Bartosz Bialek and Lovro Majer.
As for Leipzig, they are missing Assan Ouedraogo but his body has reacted well to taking part in some of team training and he should able to complete a full session next week.
Antonio Nusa will start partially training with the team next week and his workload will slowly be increased.
Xaver Schlager suffered an injury to his left thigh while on international duty with Austria and is set for another spell on the sidelines whilst Benjamin Henrichs underwent successful surgery and is working on his comeback in Leipzig.
