Tottenham Hotspur are yet to feature in a major domestic cup final while Chelsea have dominated the success in the FA Women’s Continental Tyres League Cup in recent years, winning the trophy in two of the last three seasons.
The two clubs may need to wait a little longer to learn whether they will reach this season’s last-four. Wednesday evening’s fixture is subject to the pitch at The Breyer Group Stadium passing a 2pm inspection on matchday.
Tottenham Hotspur head coach Rehanne Skinner is again set to be without the services of long-term absentees Kit Graham, Ria Percival, Kyah Simon, Ellie Brazil and Ramona Petzelberger. Defender Amy Turner is fit following a recent illness while Arsenal loanee Mana Iwabuchi could be set to make her debut.
Chelsea manager Emma Hayes has confirmed that she has no new injury concerns to contend with. Attacking midfielder Pernille Harder is the one absentee with the player recovering from surgery. Melanie Leupolz is now available for selection following her recent return from maternity leave.
The FA Women’s Continental Tyres League Cup quarter-final fixture between Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea kicks-off at 7.45pm on Wednesday evening. Tickets remain on-sale and can be purchased by clicking here.
