Chelsea will be hoping to take another step towards the UEFA Women’s Champions League quarter-finals when they face Paris FC in a group stage match at Stamford Bridge on Thursday evening.

The Blues drew 2-2 with Real Madrid in Spain on Matchday 1 and Emma Hayes’ side now have the opportunity to kick on in front of a home crowd back at The Bridge in their latest match.

Chelsea manager Hayes has confirmed that defender Millie Bright is a doubt for the Paris FC fixture. The England defender is rated as ’50-50′ with the club managing the load on her knee following the injury which she sustained at the end of last season. The Blues will definitely be without the services of Melanie Leupolz, Guro Reiten, Catarina Macário and Kateřina Svitková.

Paris FC head coach Sandrine Soubeyrand will be able to call upon the services of on-loan Chelsea full-back Alsu Abdullina who is permitted to play against her parent club. Forward Mathilde Bourdieu was a notable absentee from the squad for the fixture against Bordeaux at the weekend.

The UEFA Women’s Champions League group stage fixture between Chelsea and Paris FC kicks-off at 8pm on Thursday evening. Tickets remain on-sale and can be purchased by clicking here.
