Bristol City will host reigning WSL champions, Chelsea tomorrow at Twerton Park. The game kicks off at 14:00 GMT.

The guests are looking pick up their 32nd straight league win while the Robins fight to keep their head above water at the bottom of the table.

Some might say that Bristol have a tough hill to climb when the referee blows their whistle tomorrow for the game to start. In the previous twelve meetings between these two teams, Chelsea have won eleven.

It was only back in 2018, Bristol managed to steal a point in a goalless event. The Robins have conceded 49 goals when playing the blue giants from London, while only managing to score three themselves.

Bethany England has scored 10 of those 49 goals and is the second best goal scorer in the fixture, behind Arsenal striker Vivanne Miedema, who has scored 12 vs Bristol.

Chelsea head coach Emma Hayes should rotate her squad a lot in this game after the Blues quarter-final in the Continental Cup against Manchester City last Wednesday.

Two players that should earn themselves a lot of playtime against Bristol, are young talents Niamh Charles and Jessie Fleming. Charles made sure to keep the quarter-final alive when she equalised to 2-2 in the very last minutes with a really spectacular goal from inside Manchester City’s box.

Young Ebony Salmon for Bristol has scored 50 percent of the Robins goals in total this season with three out of six. That gives her an XG of 3.4 according to stats from fbref.com.

The successful teenager will face a real challenge when she is up against Chelsea’s backline that has only conceded six goals in total so far.
