The Gunners are four points adrift of The Blues, however, Jonas Eidevall’s side do have the benefit of a game in hand which comes in the form of a home North London derby against Spurs in midweek.
Arsenal head coach Jonas Eidevall confirmed in his pre-match press conference that Brazilian defender Rafaelle Souza is again a major doubt. Tobin Heath also won’t be involved with the player having left the club yesterday by mutual consent. The Gunners are expected to line-up similar to how they did at Everton last weekend.

Aston Villa head coach Carla Ward will be without the services of influential midfielder Remi Allen who sustained an Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) injury last weekend. The Villans boss has also confirmed that Jill Scott and Chloë Arthur will miss the trip to Boreham Wood. Some academy players will be called into the matchday squad to boost numbers.
The Barclays FA Women’s Super League fixture between Arsenal and Aston Villa is scheduled to kick-off at 2.15pm on Sunday afternoon.
