Ansu Fati is in a difficult predicament at FC Barcelona having fallen out of favour under manager Hansi Flick.
The 22-year-old was left out of the matchday squad for both the Spanish Super Cup matches last week and was used only as a substitute in the Copa del Rey game against UD Barbastro.
Given the situation, it is apparent that Flick has opened the doors for the Spaniard’s departure, although the player himself has been reluctant to leave thus far.
Now, SPORT reports that Ansu Fati has less than 20 days to reconsider his stance and accept a transfer that would allow him to gain consistent playing time for the remainder of the season.
So far, the forward has resisted leaving Barcelona this winter. However, mounting pressure from the club, the coaching staff, and even parts of his personal circle suggest that the No. 10 may need to rethink his position.

Ansu began the season with high hopes of reclaiming his role as a key player. Flick offered words of encouragement in pre-season, suggesting that the La Masia graduate could make an impact as a game-changer.
However, injuries and underwhelming performances have led to a different outcome. To date, Fati has accumulated just 186 minutes across eight matches.
The clearest indication of his diminished role came during the Super Cup clash against Athletic Club. Despite the absence of Dani Olmo and Pau Victor, Flick opted to leave Ansu out of the squad entirely, calling up 16-year-old Toni Fernandez instead.
Many in Ansu’s entourage believe he needs regular playing time, even if it means joining a less prestigious team. They hope he will come to see a mid-season loan as the first step toward regaining his form.
However, his closest family members support his desire to remain at Barcelona, respecting his decision to fight for his place.
Most stakeholders agree that a winter loan move would be the best solution. Barça is waiting for Ansu to reconsider, but ultimately, the decision rests with the player with two weeks left for the window to close.
