Premier League sides interested in €15m-rated Monaco defender Mohammed Salisu | OneFootball

Mohammed Salisu (26) is seeking to leave AS Monaco this summer, Sacha Tavolieri understands, and there is no shortage of interest in the defender.

Salisu joined Monaco from Southampton in the summer of 2023. After a difficult first season in which he contended with multiple injuries, he was more prominent at the start of last season. However, by the end of the campaign, he had been pigeon-holed as a backup option. As a result, he made just 15 appearances in Ligue 1, with his last start in the competition coming on 1st February.

With the addition of Eric Dier, game time may be even harder to come by next season. As a result, Salisu is looking to depart the Principality. L’Équipe have reported an interest from Turkish giants Galatasaray. Tavolieri adds that there is also interest from the Saudi Pro League and the Premier League. His spell at Southampton has not been forgotten on the other side of the Channel. Monaco are not willing to do a deal for anything less than €15m.
