Real Sociedad are hoping to continue their winning streak in the Europa League following their 1-0 win against Manchester United last week.

The Basque side host Omonia Nicosia in San Sebastián (Donostia) with kick-off scheduled at 6.45pm local time.

Real Sociedad will be without Umar Sadiq, who was injured on the weekend against Getafe. The injury to their record signing is a big concern for Alguacil, as the Nigerian striker is expected to be sidelined for around seven months. Since his arrival before his injury, he only managed to play 158 minutes for the txuri-urdin.

With Sadiq’s injury, Alguacil may choose to rotate his frontline altogether and give the nod to Mohamed-Ali Cho and Takefusa Kubo. Brais Méndez and David Silva are also expected to return to the starting XI.
