PREDICTED LINE-UPS | Lazio v Celtic

Article image:PREDICTED LINE-UPS | Lazio v Celtic

Lazio will be aiming to take one step further in progressing to the knockouts of the Champions League when they face Celtic tomorrow at the Stadio Olimpico.

Lazio staged a remarkable comeback in the away reverse fixture against Celtic as goals from Matias Vecino and Pedro cancelled out Kyogo Furuhashi’s 12th-minute strike while providing the visitors with the lead until the end of the match. The Biancocelesti were piled on with more pressure in their last match in the Serie A when rock-bottom recorded their first victory of the season by sending the capital side tumbling down the standings. Lazio haven’t been at their best this campaign but a win tomorrow will ensure that their fate remains in their own hands ahead of entering the final European matchday.

Meanwhile, Celtic haven’t been able to transfer their league form into the Champions League campaign as they have only managed to register a point across the four games played until now. The Scottish side has been flawless in the Premiership this season as they are yet to lose while scoring a staggering 35 goals across their first 14 games. The Bhoys could hold Group E leaders Atletico Madrid to a 2-2 draw at home but were thrashed 6-0 in the away reverse. They won’t be holding much hope for tomorrow but a win could renew their hopes to qualify for the Europa League.

Here are the predicted line-ups for the match:

Lazio (4-3-3): Provedel; Lazzari, Patric, Gila, Marusic; Geundouzi, Cataldi, Alberto; Anderson, Zaccagni, Immobile

Celtic (4-3-2-1): Hart; A. Johnston, Carter-Vickers, Scales, Taylor; O’Riley, McGregor, Turnbull; Yang, M. Johnston; Furuhashi
