Tottenham Hotspur entertained Burnley at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium earlier today as they hoped to secure a good result at home in the Premier League. Spurs made a slow start to the game and conceded the opening goal in the 25th minute when Jacob Bruun Larsen found the back of the net. However, Pedro Porro equalised for Tottenham just seven minutes later as the two teams went into the half-time break with a 1-1 scoreline.

Micky van de Ven ended up scoring the winning goal for the home team in the 82nd minute as the match finished 2-1 in favour of Tottenham.

LB: Oliver Skipp – 6.5/10

He performed his defensive duties well and offered very little in the opposition half.

CM: Yves Bissouma – 6.5/10

Bissouma earned possession back twice and was accurate with his passing.

CM: Pape Matar Sarr – 7/10

He caught the eye at times at both ends of the field.

RW: Dejan Kulusevski – 7/10

Kulusevski made a few decent chances for his teammates in the final third but failed to register a goal.

CAM: James Maddison – 7.5/10

He caused all sorts of problems for the opposition defenders and ended the game with an assist to his name.

LW: Brennan Johnson – 6.5/10

Johnson managed to create some inviting chances for others around him and has got an assist to show for his efforts.

Son was a constant menace in the opposition half but there was no goal for him.

He kept things solid at the back.

CM: Rodrigo Bentancur – 6/10

His impact on the game was minimal.
