Inter Women triumphed 2-1 on the Roma pitch in the big match of MD14, gaining three fundamental points in a match full of excitments. It was Inter women's first win away against Roma. The Nerazzurre took advantage of the numerical superiority after Giacinti's expulsion, capitalising on decisive occasions. With this success, Piovani's team rises to second place with 31 points.

The match opened with a scare for Inter. After an early error by Rúnarsdóttir, Giugliano made an attempt from far out, but her conclusion ended just wide. Inter reacted immediately and took the lead in the 11th minute: Polli scored a great goal with a powerful right-footer from the edge of the area, putting her team ahead. The joy, however, was short-lived. Just two minutes later, Roma responded with Thogersen, who brought the score back even with a controlled touch. The turning point came in the 22nd minute, when Giacinti was sent off for a reaction to Bowen, leaving Roma in a numerical inferiority. The Nerazzurri tried to take advantage and went close to scoring in the 43rd minute, when Magull served a precise cross for Polli who, however, failed to put enough power into the ball from a favourable position.

In the second half, Inter upped the tempo and found the final 2-1 goal in the 55th minute: a perfect assist from Bugeja, Serturini coordinated perfectly and volleyed into the corner, delighting the fans at the Stadio Tre Fontane. Roma tried to react in the 59th with Glionna, who shot powerfully from the right but found a careful response from Rúnarsdóttir. The Nerazzurri came close to a third goal in the 75th minute when Cambiaghi served Magull, but the German midfielder's left-footer was blocked by the Giallorossi goalkeeper. In the last minutes, Inter managed the advantage with maturity, closing every space and bringing home a fundamental victory.
