Paris Saint-Germain boss Mauricio Pochettino has told Le Parisien that he will not treat superstar striker Kylian Mbappé any differently despite his not having indicated whether he is looking to continue the adventure at the Parc des Princes.

While question marks continue to hang over Kylian Mbappé's future at Paris Saint-Germain - the €180m striker has just a year left on his contract and is yet to sign an extension - Paris Saint-Germain coach Mauricio Pochettino has said that he will not treat Kylian Mbappé any differently. No special treatment

"The only thing clear is that Kylian still has a year left on his contract. He is a player in the squad and we will treat him the same way as a player with five years of contract," the Argentinean coach told Le Parisien before clarifying that Mbappé has not told him he does not wish to extend his deal. "These are private discussions. But in no way Kylian has talked to me about this." Meanwhile, when asked about possible new arrivals in the squad, Pochettino made no secret of the fact there could be further comings and going at the capital club, who have already made the massive signings of Sergio Ramos, Georginio Wijnaldum, Achraf Hakimi and Gianluigi Donnarumma.

More 'adjustments' to come?

"There are always surprises," smiled the coach who just last week put pen to paper on a two-year contract extension of his own. "You have to find a balance between arrivals and departures. As in all clubs, there will be adjustments throughout the summer. We have to stay alert to opportunities." Stay tuned! >> TRANSFERS: All the summer moves
