Player ‘has been sold to Chelsea’ for £17m this weekend according to local source | OneFootball

According to one local source this weekend, Chelsea are signing another new player this summer transfer window for £17m.

Chelsea have been super busy during this window so far, and they are also looking close now to selling midfielder Conor Gallagher this week.

But this latest report is on a possible new incoming, and it is another player for the future.

According to Gremio source Radio Imortal, Gremio player Gabriel Mec has been sold to Chelsea for more than £17m.

Fabrizio reins is back

The report from the Gremio source can be seen above, but transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has reigned it in slightly and says it is not yet a done deal.

Romano says: ‘Chelsea and Gremio are getting closer to the full agreement for Gabriel Mec. Deal not done yet but advancing, still waiting for some crucial steps to get it sealed for 2008 born Brazilian talent to join the Chelsea project.’

Mec is another very talented young South American player who is just 16-years-old and coming up through the ranks.

Chelsea have been signing a host of new young players from around the world as they look to build for the future, and Mec looks likely to be one of the many new faces arriving into this project.

I am sure there will be many more incoming too.

So whilst this one is not yet a done deal, it looks likely that it will soon become a done deal and Mec will be a Chelsea player for the future.
