Inter played six matches in October, recording five wins against Crvena Zvezda, Torino, Roma, Young Boys and Empoli and drawing 4-4 with Juventus at San Siro. It was a very positive month for the Nerazzurri, and now it's time for the Inter fans to vote for the Pirelli Player of the Month for October.
The four contenders to win the award are Nicolò Barella, Federico Dimarco, Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thuram.
After recovering from injury, Barella made four appearances in October. His performances were full of technical quality and he showed himself to be a real leader, while he also provided the assist for Lautaro's goal against Empoli.
He was once again full of running down the left flank, combining this with brilliant technique. It was a flawless month for Federico Dimarco, who produced some extraordinary performances. Towards the end of the month, the wing-back provided the vital assist for Thuram's winner away to Young Boys.
The Nerazzurri captain was a vital figure in October, scoring three goals and providing an assist. It was also a month that saw Lautaro achieve a brilliant feat. The No.10 made Inter history, becoming the Club's seventh highest goalscorer of all time. He currently has 135 goals to his name in an Inter shirt.
It was also an unforgettable month for Tikus, who scored his first Nerazzurri hat-trick when Inzaghi's men faced Torino. He also scored the decisive goal against Young Boys. In general, the French attacker made a precious contribution to the team, also setting up Mkhitaryan to score against Juventus.
