Andrea Pinamonti’s move to Sassuolo has stopped Milan Skriniar from leaving Inter for now but targets are still being looked at, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport today, the fact that Andrea Pinamonti has accepted the move to Sassuolo which should be completed on Thursday means that Inter are less interested in selling Milan Skriniar to raise money.

The €20 million that his sale brings is very important for Inter. A late bid for Milan Skriniar can’t be ruled out but now that the season is a matter of days away, it would be a bold call from Steven Zhang to sell.

Nonetheless, Inter need to keep across other targets to possibly replace the Slovakian. The two main candidates right now seem to be OGC Nice’s Jean-Clair Todibo and Borussia Dortmund’s Manuel Akanji. The former would be the more expensive.
