Hakan Calhanoglu tasted both euphoria and disillusionment within 45 minutes against Napoli, as he scored a stunner to equalise the game for Inter before the break, only to miss a second-half penalty which could’ve earned his side a massive three points.

It was Calhanoglu’s first-ever mistake from the penalty spot for Inter and the Turkey international admitted that while errors are ‘part of the game’, he can’t help but feel ‘the weight of disappointment’, as he wrote in a post published on his Instagram official account.
Inter’s 1-1 draw against Antonio Conte’s side left them fourth in Serie A, although they’re level on 25 points with Atalanta and Fiorentina, all of which sit one point behind leaders Napoli.
