Peter Crouch’s robot celebration is iconic.
The English striker pulled out the celebration after scoring for his country against Jamaica in 2006.
He performed the celebration again after scoring his 100th Premier League goal in a game for Stoke in 2017.
“It was a bit of nostalgia, pulling it out. I was under a lot of pressure,” he said after the game, per the Sun.
“It was a bit stiff to be honest. It’s been 10 years. I think I’ll have to retire it. Weddings and parties only now.”
Crouch is now looking to teach others how to do the robot.
Ahead of the 2022 Champions League final, Crouch has tried to teach the dance to singer Camila Cabello, who is performing before the match between Liverpool and Real Madrid.
The Cuban-American pop star was impressed and even gave it a little go herself.

In a video posted by BT Sport, Crouch started: “So Camila, I’m not sure if you’re across it, but I invented the robot in the UK. I know lots of people in New York started it but I brought it to mainstream UK. I know you do a lot of dance moves yourself, but I could always teach you if you would like.
“It’s all about body locking and popping – yeah, I am incredible at it,” Crouch says as he gives a demonstration.
Cabello then replied: “Oh my God! I just feel like I won’t be as good because you’re twice my height! I can try, but…”
Cabello then gives it a go and Crouch gives his approval, saying “That’s nice!”
The pop star then invites Crouch to tach the move to the 300 dancers that will be performing with her. He replies: “I’ll let you into a secret – I lied, I’m actually not very good at it.”
But Cabello disagreed saying: “It was better than I thought it would be!”
