Rangers discover potential opponent after Champions League third round draw

Rangers have discovered their potential opponent should they reach the next Champions League qualifying round.

Today's draw has Rangers or Panathinaikos taking on the winner of Czech side Viktoria Plzen or Servette from Switzerland.

The Gers will take on Panathinaikos at Ibrox on Tuesday evening before a second leg the following week as they traverse the League Path of the qualifiers.

Elsewhere Nice will take on Benfica and Feyenoord are set to face Fenerbahçe in two games that should be close-fought contests. Club Brugge will also be going through the League Path and they will take on the winner of Brann and Red Bull Salzburg.

Republic of Ireland side Shelbourne are navigating the Champions Path and should they defeat Qarabağ of Azerbaijan then they will face either North Macedonia side Shkëndija or FCSB of Bucharest.
