Personal terms have now been agreed as Chelsea close in on signing a £34 million sought after transfer target this window.
Yesterday really did get busy again for Chelsea as they look to get some final deals done and over the line before the end of the summer transfer window in less than six weeks time now.
There is plenty of transfer stories going on involving Chelsea, with the top news of the last 24 hours has being the Blues’ big push to sign Xavi Simons from RB Leipzig, and transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has come in hard with a big update on all of that which is very positive for Blues fans.
“Chelsea are advancing very well. Negotiations underway, negotiations going well. An agreement on personal terms is getting closer,” Romano said on Simons to Chelsea.
“At the moment it’s still not done, but any moment could see an agreement.”
It’s moving…. And so are other deals!
As well as Simons, Chelsea are looking to sign another rising Dutch star in defender Jorrel Hato, and Romano also had the very latest on that one via his YouTube channel late last night.

He said:
“Chelsea has reached an agreement on personal terms with Jorrel Hato, and the defender has asked to leave Ajax! Negotiations are advancing, and a fee of around £34 million is discussed.”
The benchmark being used for the fee is Jurrien Timber who joined Arsenal from Ajax for the same amount of money.
Romano continues:
“Chelsea wants a new defender as soon as possible, and the player will be Jorrel Hato! Long-term contract and wages agreed. Chelsea wants to do business at around £34 million; the benchmark is Timber and Ajax in the past.
“The player wants to go!”
