WhoScored recently put together form rankings for some of Europe’s top leagues. That included the Premier League, with Nicolas Pepe finishing top for form in England.
He joins Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe and Robert Lewandowski from La Liga, Ligue 1 and the Bundesliga.
Everton stars Richarlison (7.76) and Dominic Calvert-Lewin (7.67) didn’t finish far behind in the PL. Carlo Ancelotti certainly has his forwards firing right now. Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne (7.73) and Riyad Mahrez (7.70) complete the top-five.
Pepe has two goals and three assists in his last six appearances, and he even managed a perfect 10 rating for his performance against Newcastle United last month.
Arsenal are still yet to win a game without a Pepe goal or assist since Burnley on matchday two of the season. It’s no coincidence that they’re picking up some points now he’s finding form.
Next up is West Ham. The winger recorded one of his highest ratings of the season with a goal and assist against the same team in December. So hopefully, he can keep his positive run going this weekend.
