Reports in Italy claim that Juventus are beginning to work on a new contract extension for Turkish talent Kenan Yildiz in order to fend off interest from the likes of Premier League side Arsenal heading into the summer transfer window.

Yildiz still has four full years on his current Bianconeri contract left to play, but the club are prepared to reward him with an increase in salary after an impressive 2024-25 season in Serie A.

With nine goals and seven assists to his name across all competitions this term, Yildiz is currently the second-most productive U20 player in Europe, second only to Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal.

The 20-year-old’s form has not gone unnoticed, and according to reports from Tuttosport, has attracted interest from Premier League side Arsenal, now under the guidance of Italian sporting director Andrea Berta.

Tuttosport claims that Arsenal will look to invest around €50m-€60m on a new left winger during the summer transfer window, and that Yildidz and Nico Williams are among the preferred options.

However, in order to fend off the growing interest in Yildiz, Juventus are prepared to adjust the personal terms that he currently receives from his current deal.

And, while Arsenal may be prepared to spend up to €60m on a new winger, Sunday’s reports claim that Yildiz is now valued in the region of €100m by his current employers.

Juventus are reportedly planning to increase Yildiz’s salary from the €1.5m he currently earns annually to somewhere in the region of €3m-€4m per season plus bonuses.
