Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has issued a four-man fitness update on his squad ahead of the visit of Wolves in the Premier League this weekend.

It is the first of four season-defining matches for the reigning Premier League champions in the English top-flight, as they aim to become the first side in the competition’s history to win the title in four successive seasons.

Wolves are the visitors to the Etihad Stadium on Saturday evening, with the Molineux club making the trip to the north-west without permission for head coach Gary O’Neil to be in the dugout following an FA touchline ban.

A double-header away visit to London will then follow from the following weekend, as Manchester City’s title-winning credentials will be put to the ultimate test at the final hurdle, with trips to face Fulham and Tottenham in a Saturday to Tuesday schedule.

The season will then conclude with a visit from West Ham United to the Etihad Stadium on the final day. For now, all attention is on the visit of Wolves, with the City boss offering a full update on the fitness and availability of his squad.

As per confirmation from Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola speaking during his pre-match press conference on Friday afternoon, both Ruben Dias and Phil Foden “feel good” and are back available for the club to face Wolves on Saturday evening.

Ederson also fell under the “feels good” tag, after the goalkeeper trained as normal with the wider first-team squad from Wednesday onwards this week, despite sustaining a concerning shoulder problem during the first-half of the weekend’s 0-2 win over Nottingham Forest.

Following his return to the Manchester City side last weekend, Erling Haaland is also now available to start again for Pep Guardiola this time around, having bounced back from a minor injury problem with a second-half goal at the City Ground.
