The Beatles or the Stones? Nike or adidas? Jam or marmalade?
These are the sort of questions which have divided mankind for centuries and weâre still no closer to reaching a consensus.
But thereâs one debate that JĂŒrgen Klopp has settled once and for all: Pep Guardiola or JosĂ© Mourinho?
The two managerial behemoths have been slugging it out in Manchester since the summer of 2016 and since then, itâs fair to say Guardiolaâs City have had the upper hand their over local rivals.
That doesnât mean two-time Champions League winner Mourinho isnât still one of the best coaches on the planet, however, and even though things arenât going so well for him at the moment, you should never write him off.
But who is the best coach of the two? Liverpool boss Klopp was asked just that in an interview with Sky Germany, and the answer he gave was unequivocal.
đŁ| Jurgen Kloppâs response when asked by Sky Germany: "Pep Guardiola or Jose Mourinho?"đ„ âÂ
âPep Guardiola,â he said.
âItâs not about better. I think Pep is the best coach in the world, so you could have asked about any other name.
âItâs not about the comparison with JosĂ©. Pep is doing quite alright.â
So thereâs that one settled. Now we just need JĂŒrgen to sort out the Lionel Messi vs Cristiano Ronaldo discourse and we can all get on with our lives.
Oh, and itâs The Beatles, adidas and jam, in case you were wondering.
