Pellegrini back in training

Luca Pellegrini returned to training as part of small group including seven outfield players and four goalkeepers.

Following an hour’s work in the ProfiCamp gym at Deutsche Bank Park on Tuesday, a small training group comprising seven outfield players and four goalkeepers took to the training pitch. In addition to the absent players on international duty, Sebastian Rode, Timothy Chandler, Evan Ndicka and Jens Grahl were also missing.

However, Luca Pellegrini was back working up a sweat with his teammates. The full-back has remained in Frankfurt after recovering from thigh problems despite receiving a provisional call-up to the Italian national team.
