France and Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba has now been given permission to be present in Qatar for the FIFA World Cup final.
La Repubblica have reported that Pogba’s presence in Qatar is a special request of Emmanuel Macron, who has asked for the midfielder’s presence during the final. There were rumours of a ban on the idea from the Bianconeri, who have now denied the talk and Pogba has been granted permission to head to Qatar to watch the final from the stands.
On Sunday, Juventus have a day off from training and Pogba was not going to take part anyway because of his knee injury. The request from FFF arrived some days ago and it was backed by Macron. Pogba is keen and he expressed his view to Juve, who have granted him permission to reach the Qatari capital by his private jet. He will return to Turin one day later, so that he has enough to spend with the Old Lady.
