Patrick Vieira not ruling out Arsenal comeback

Currently managing RC Strasbourg, Arsenal legend Patrick Vieira recently spoke to Telefoot about a number of topics, including whether he might return to his former club someday.
“This job is a very difficult one,” Vieira said (via GFFN). “You never know what can happen.
“My objectives and my desire is to bring this club (Strasbourg) to another level and we’ll see about the rest.”
Vieira joined Strasbourg as their new head coach on a three-year deal earlier in the summer.
The Ligue 1 side had guaranteed Vieira that they’re aiming to push on and fight in the top half of Ligue 1 next season, rather than battling relegation as they did in 2022/23.
So far, that indeed appears to be the case, with the club sitting fifth in the table after six games, despite Strasbourg’s relatively poor record of recent finishes.
Since winning Ligue 2 in 2016/17, Strasbourg have generally finished in the bottom half of Ligue 1, ending up in 15th, 11th, 10th, 15th, 6th, and 15th across the last six seasons.
Since ending his playing days, Vieira has managed the Manchester City Academy, New York City FC, OGC Nice, and Crystal Palace.
That last spell in the Premier League lasted just under two years and ended in March, with Roy Hodgson taking back over at the club.
Vieira is now catching the eye with his work at Strasbourg, but with Mikel Arteta leading his team back to the Champions League, it doesn’t look likely there will be a job opening at Arsenal anytime soon.
