Paris 2024 Olympic football draw in full: Emma Hayes handed tough group in first USA tournament | OneFootball

The draw for the 2024 Paris Olympics has been made for both the men’s and women’s tournaments.

Emma Hayes will lead the USA out at her first international tournament against Germany, Australia and one of Zambia and Morocco in Group B.

Team GB did not qualify and Group C pits World Cup winners Spain against Brazil.

In the men’s game, hosts France have been drawn against the USA, either South Africa, Nigeria, Zambia or Guinea and New Zealand.

Group B: USA, CAF 2 (Zambia or Morocco), Germany, Australia

Group C: Spain, Japan, CAF 1 (Nigeria or Morocco), Brazil

Men’s Olympic Football Tournament

Group A: France, USA, AFC 4 or Guinea, New Zealand

Group B: Argentina, Morocco, AFC 3, Ukraine

Group games for both tournaments begin on Wednesday July 24, 2024.

The men’s final is scheduled for Friday August 9 and the women’s for Saturday August 10.
