Chelsea locked horns with Manchester City at Wembley Stadium earlier this evening as they hoped to earn a win in the semi-finals of the FA Cup. The Blues made a solid start to the game but were held to a scoreless draw at the half-time break.

Mauricio Pochettino’s men ended up conceding the opening goal in the 84th minute when Bernardo Silva found the back of the net for Man City. Chelsea ended up suffering a tough 1-0 defeat at Wembley which knocked them out of the FA Cup.

Let’s take a look at how each Chelsea player performed during the match against Man City.

GK: Dorde Petrovic – 6.5/10

Petrovic made a couple of important saves at the back but won’t be happy after conceding a late goal.

RB: Malo Gusto – 6.5/10

He did his fair share of defending and made one good chance in the final third.

CB: Trevoh Chalobah – 6.5/10

Chalobah put his foot through the ball when he could but it was not enough in the end.

CB: Thiago Silva – 6.5/10

Silva made some crucial clearances inside his half but would be disappointed for not securing the clean sheet.

LB: Marc Cucurella – 6/10

The Spaniard came back to defend when he could but failed to make an impact in the opponent’s half.

CM: Moises Caicedo – 6.5/10

He anchored the midfield well but struggled to influence the game going forward.

CM: Enzo Fernandez – 6/10

Fernandez worked hard but lacked quality on the ball.

RW: Noni Madueke – 6.5/10

He had some strikes at goal but never looked like he would score.

CAM: Cole Palmer – 7/10

Palmer was a constant menace in the final third and was accurate with his passing.

LW: Conor Gallagher – 7/10

He made a couple of clever runs with the ball but failed to find the back of the net.

ST: Nicolas Jackson – 7/10

Jackson was a real handful for the opposition defenders but there was no goal for him this evening.
