In speaking with Spanish sports daily paper Marca, PSG’s Spanish international forward Pablo Sarabia, who has spent a successful season on loan at Sporting Lisbon, is not ruling out being re-integrated into the PSG squad for next season amid an overhaul of the playing staff in Paris. Reportedly, this is indeed PSG’s intention. The 30-year-old explained, however, that he is yet to discuss the idea:

“Until now, I haven’t thought about it… In a few weeks, hopefully, it will be time to focus on the national team… After that, we’ll sit down and see what’s the best option for PSG and for me. I’m very grateful to PSG, to [sporting director] Leonardo, who was great with me, and, whatever we decide, there will be no problem.”

“After joining the club, I played 79 games in two seasons. In the end, I had my place – I scored my goals and made my assists when it was my turn to play, this is not something that is being ruled out… I haven’t taken the time to think about the best option yet… When these games are over, if I’m lucky enough to be part of the national team, we’ll sit down and see what the options are and which one will be the best for my goal – which is to make it to Qatar.”
