It’s two years to the day since Benjamin Pavard struck the most aesthetically pleasing half-volley in the history of football.

Two goals either side of half-time had given Argentina the lead with France looking to the likes of Kylian Mbappé and Antoine Griezmann to get them back into the game.
Mbappé was to have his moment but it was a centre-back/right-back that produced the goods, in sensational fashion.
This beauty went on to win the official goal of the tournament.
