A key member of the midfield ranks at La Liga outfit Osasuna was absent from group training once again on Friday.
The player in question? Moi Gómez.
Gómez, for his part, has featured in 26 of Osasuna’s league outings across the season to date, chipping in with three goals along the way.
In turn, it came as a concern for all of a Rojillos persuasion, on Thursday, when word was forthcoming that the 29-year-old was nowhere to be seen at the club’s training ground.
And, as per a report from Mundo Deportivo, 24 hours on, Gómez remains a notable absentee from Jagoba Arrasate’s ranks.
The Spaniard is understood to be dealing with discomfort in his left thigh, expected to miss out against Real Betis on Sunday as a result.
Also absent from group activities on Friday were all of Ante Budimir, Aimar Oroz, Kike Barja, and David García. All four will watch on from the sidelines at El Sadar in two days’ time, too.
