“We continue to democratise football. Bringing freely available matches from one of the biggest leagues in the world to Brazil, where football is the most popular sport, is really exciting for us,” said OneFootball CEO Lucas von Cranach.

“By energising the traditional sports media landscape and bringing the action directly to Brazilian fans, for free and easily available at their fingertips, we’re another step closer to becoming the ultimate football destination for a new generation.”

The top flight games will be accompanied by English commentary for the opening weeks of the new season, but this will change to Portuguese as soon as our new team of commentators are ready.

Alongside broadcasts of Bundesliga games, you can expect much more: exclusive content about German football, goal videos, the best moments and exclusive analysis from our editorial team direct from Germany.

The games begin this Friday (18 September) as Bayern Munich host Schalke in the season opener at 15:30 Brazilian time.
