Oliver Glasner has an exit clause in his Eintracht Frankfurt contract

Bild reports that Eintracht Frankfurt manager Oliver Glasner has an exit clause in his contract that is valid from this summer.

The clause has to be activated by the final game of the season whether that be in the league or the DFB Pokal final, which would then allow Glasner to join any club he wants. If the 48-year-old does not use this clause then any club wanting Glasner would have to negotiate a fee with Frankfurt over his release.

Glasner currently has a contract extension offer from Frankfurt which he is considering. The deal would extend his contract until 2026 and he would earn €3m a year. For the 48-year-old, his future is not about the money, if he decides to extend his contract at Frankfurt then he will not be going anywhere, which is why he is taking his time in considering this new deal.

However, Frankfurt knows that if teams the size of Real Madrid, Chelsea or Tottenham they will struggle to keep Glasner.
