Manchester United star Bruno Fernandes has been heavily praised by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who seemed to suggest he’s set the bar for the squad.
The Portuguese magician joined the club in January and it’s safe to say there’s been a huge change in the club’s fortunes since.
Solskjaer seemed to be heading for the exit before Bruno’s arrival but it was thanks to his immediate adaptation to his new surroundings that United were able to finish the league in third place.
The former Sporting Lisbon man’s impact on the team has been well documented and rightfully addressed and it’s easy to see his influence hasn’t waned.
Bruno continues to drag the Red Devils through matches on occasion and is arguably their most talismanic player.
Although the comparison may not be quite fully justified, Bruno’s impact has been so great that there are those who claim he is this generation’s Eric Cantona.
The stunning playmaker will have to win a few league titles first for that to be a fair comparison but the similarities are there.
Although Harry Maguire is the club’s official captain, it’s easy to see Bruno is arguably the more important leader, at least from the outside looking in.
