Roma are ready to welcome Florent Ghisolfi as their new sporting director. The capital club will soon appoint the 39-year-old executive as Tiago Pinto’s successor following the General Manager’s exit in February.
As reported by Filippo Biafora of Il Tempo, it’s only a matter of time before Ghisolfi lands in the Italian capital as Nice have given him the green light tonight.
Biafora reports that OGC Nice president Jean-Pierre Rivère confirmed earlier tonight – after Nice’s last game of the season – Ghisolfi’s departure from the club and his decision to join Roma instead.
“Ghisolfi will join Roma. We are happy for him,” said Rivère.
The Frenchman is expected in Italy before the end of the month.
