The new era of Roma under Gian Piero Gasperini does not only involve the bench, but extends in depth to the entire team at Trigoria.
As reported by Il Tempo, in addition to the changeover between Claudio Ranieri and the former Atalanta coach, the club has begun a profound restructuring of the medical and athletic staff.
One of the most significant changes concerns the figure of the medical director: Andrea Billi will take the place of Roberto Vannicelli, a historic face of the Roman sports center, who in recent months had already been supported by Bernardino Petrucci, currently the medical-social health coordinator.
His exit symbolically marks the end of a cycle and the beginning of a new approach also in terms of the physical and health management of the team group.
It will not be the only farewell: osteopath Walter Martinelli, physiotherapists Stefano Gari and Vittorio Raieta, as well as athletic trainers Christian Di Claudio and Marco Barbato will also leave.
Among the new arrivals, the name of Guillermo Aladrén Pérez stands out, also coming from the experience in Bergamo with Gasperini.
His arrival, like that of other collaborators already announced, confirms the desire of the new coach to bring with him a well-defined methodological imprint, based on high rhythms, intensity and detailed preparation.
