The short winter break has allowed OGC Nice to get some players back. Franck Haise’s side had been heavily depleted, and whilst they still are, there are some returnees as they welcome Stade Rennais on Friday night.
Notably, captain Dante will return and he is expected to start with Moïse Bombito absent from this encounter. He is out with an adductor injury and so Haise’s options in this sector of the pitch remain highly limited. In midfield, Hicham Boudaoui returns to partner Tanguy Ndombélé. The former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder revealed last month that he had been playing with a pubalgia issue. It is not clear to what extent that has cleared up but he is nonetheless expected to start.
Mohamed Ali-Cho is also once again available but is not expected to start for Nice.
