Serie A side Lazio are never too far from having controversy around managers and new manager Maurizio Sarri is considering his future weeks after his return to the Roman side.

The Biancocelesti failed to qualify for European football last season and as a result, their finances took a hit. Due to that, they are waiting for potential sales to unlock their incomings market.

Even if Loum Tchaouna is on his way to Burnley, his sale doesn’t present Lazio with a major capital gain for transfers. Names like Nicolo Rovella, Mario Gila and Matteo Guendouzi have been linked with exits, but suitors have not come forward yet.

Sarri always brings in certain set of demands at clubs and he has those once again and is familiar with how Claudio Lotito operates from his previous stint at the Olimpico. The club’s market is currently blocked due to what has been described as lack of liquidity.
