Both players suffered injuries during the opening Serie A game of the season against Como in August and missed the following matches against Hellas Verona and Roma.

“Today the team met up in the morning at the Training Centre: after the usual warm-ups, the focus today was on ball possession, for a session that then ended with a training match and athletic work,” Juventus said in a statement.

“Khephren Thuram and Timothy Weah returned to training with the group, following their individual work during their recovery from injury.

“Tomorrow, the team will be back on the pitch in the morning, before the presentation press conference of Francisco Conceicao at the Allianz Stadium at 14:00 CEST, live as always on Juventus.com for registered users.”

Weah scored on his 2024-25 Serie A debut against Como but was forced to be subbed off at halftime.

This is his second season in Turin as the American star moved to the Allianz Stadium in an €11m deal from Lille in 2023.

Weah has scored two goals and provided three assists in 36 appearances with the Serie A giants.

Thuram joined Juventus from OGC Nice in the 2024 summer transfer window, following in the footsteps of his father, Lilian, a 1998 France World Cup winner, who had played for the Old Lady from 2001 until 2006.
