“Torino are delighted to announce the signing of the footballer Ché Adams,” the Granata said in a statement on Tuesday.

“The striker has signed a contract until June 2027.”

Born in Leicester, England, on July 13, 1996, Adams came through the academies of Coventry City, St Andrews, Oadby Town and Ilkeston before joining Sheffield United in November 2014.

In August 2016, he signed for Birmingham City. During a three-year spell with the English Championship club, Adams scored 38 goals in 123 appearances across all competitions.

He made his Premier League debut in August 2019, one month after his permanent transfer to Southampton. He netted 48 times in 191 appearances with the Saints contributing to their Premier League return last season with 17 goals in 46 matches.

A Scotland international, Adams scored six goals in 33 international appearances, playing three games at EURO 2024.

“Ciao Torino! So excited for the next chapter & can’t wait to get started in my new home. Let’s go,” wrote Adams on his official Instagram account, posting some pictures from his medical tests with the Granata and the first few photos from the capital of Piedmont.
