Referee Federico Dionisi is set to be in charge of Inter’s Serie A clash with Udinese at the San Siro which will take place on Saturday evening.

This is confirmed by an announcement of the list of officials for the matchweek by the Lega Serie A, reported by FCInterNews, who also note that the 34-year-old will be taking charge of a Nerazzurri match for the first time in his relatively young career.

The Lega Serie A and the Italian FA have been making an effort to introduce more young referees into the game over the past few seasons in particular.

Dionisi is one of the referees who is seen as having a bright future, having emerged as a top official who is seen as being ready for Serie A matches.

In Inter’s match against Udinese, Dionisi will be assisted by Ciro Carboni and Alessandro Galliatini.

Meanwhile, the role of fourth official will be filled by Giovanni Ayroldi.
