Real Madrid will play their second and final pre-season friendly match tonight as they take on Austrian club WSG Tirol in Innsbruck in a little over an hour.
Ahead of kickoff, Real Madrid boss Xabi Alonso has now announced the starting XI that will be taking the field as preparations for the new season ramp up.
It appears that Alonso has opted for a 4-3-3 formation for Real Madrid in front of goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois.
All three summer signings who have already arrived – Trent Alexander-Arnold, Dean Huijsen, and Alvaro Carreras start today for the Merengues, with Eder Militao completing the defensive line.
Meanwhile, Arda Guler continues in his new role in midfield, where he is partnered by Aurelien Tchouameni and Dani Ceballos – with players like Jude Bellingham, Federico Valverde, and Eduardo Camavinga unavailable through injuries.
Up ahead in attack, Kylian Mbappe starts as the centre-forward, flanked by the duo of Vinicius Jr. and Brahim Diaz, with Rodrygo Goes and Gonzalo Garcia being options on the bench.
